● Absorbs moisture from irritated or broken skin.
● Improves adhesion of the skin barrier/baseplate.
● Helps protect peristomal skin from further damage.
● Non-medicated and non-sterile.
● Suitable for use with colostomy, ileostomy, and urostomy systems.
Instructions for Use:
1. Clean and dry the skin around the stoma.
2. Lightly dust the powder onto moist or damaged skin only.
3. Gently brush or wipe away any excess powder.
4. If recommended, apply a skin barrier wipe or spray over the powder (“crusting technique”) and allow it to dry.
5. Apply the ostomy barrier or pouch as usual.
Precautions:
● For external use only.
● Use only on moist, irritated, or weeping skin.
● Do not apply to healthy, dry skin, as it may reduce barrier adhesion.
● Remove excess powder before applying the pouching system.
● Discontinue use once the skin has healed.
● Consult a stoma care nurse or healthcare professional if irritation persists or worsens.
